Child and Youth Support Services

Under 21 and experiencing mental health challenges? If you have a mental illness or your mental health is at risk, and this limits your participation in life compared to others, you have a legal right to support. At GPD, we offer educational support services (“Erziehungsbeistandschaften”) and integration assistance for children, adolescents, and young adults. We serve the districts of Wandsbek and Nord. We provide advice and support to help you find the right path. After your 21st birthday, we can continue to support you through our ASP program.

What kind of help do we offer?

At GPD Nordost, we provide outpatient integration assistance. We help you in areas where you face difficulties, like everyday life, school, training, leisure, family, social contacts, and work. We discuss your individual needs with you.

To receive support, you need to apply at the youth welfare office. We can help you with the application process. As a first step, you can contact us for free, non-binding information about how the help works.
