GPD stands for "Community Psychiatric Services." Nordost means that we operate in the northeast of Hamburg. At eight locations, we offer outpatient support services for people experiencing
mental health challenges.
Providing high-quality care to our clients is very important to us. The GPD team consists of about 80 employees. To find the right contact person for everyone, GPD employs professionals from
various fields: social pedagogy, psychology, occupational therapy, nursing and elderly care, peer support workers (former service users), and many others.
Are you experiencing mental health challenges and need support in daily life? Or are problems disrupting your life? We offer short-, medium-, or long-term support. For example, you can come to us if you want psychosocial counseling or need longer-term help through ASP (Assistance in Social Psychiatry).
Our psychosocial counseling (for adults 21 and older) is free and anonymous upon request: available in person, by phone, or online via chat (video and text).
You can also simply visit our centers during opening hours to spend
time, have coffee, play board games, or take part in free activities.
For children, adolescents, and young adults (up to 21 years), we provide "educational support services" (Erziehungsbeistand) or "integration assistance" (Eingliederungshilfe). The goal is to stabilize and promote development within their current living environment and to empower to live independently and responsibly.
